Membership in the International Karate Connection Association is a contract between the Association and the Individual Member.

On this website you will find the IKCA BYLAWS. If you plan to join the Association please read them carefully. By signing the application you will be affirming that you have read, understand and agree to abide by those Bylaws and conduct yourself in accordance with the KARATE CONNECTION CREED, which you will also find here on the site.

By becoming a member you will receive the quarterly Newsletter, which began with the creation of the Association in 1994 and has continued uninterrupted, without missing an issue. Each current Newsletter is also published here in the MEMBERS ONLY SECTION of the Website, for which you will be given a password to access.

In addition, your membership includes the keeping of your records from the time you join for as long as the Association is in existence, which should be into the far reaching future because provisions have already been made to insure that it does not cease to exist just because eventually the present leadership will. We knew we would not be around forever and we made certain that by providing for that eventuality the Association would continue.

Membership in the IKCA also allows you to purchase items and certain videos at discount prices, plus Membership Only T-shirts and certain videos containing historical footage, that can’t be purchased by anyone outside the membership.

Pictured below is the package you receive as an IKCA Member.

It consists of an eight-by-ten-inch MEMBERSHIP PLAQUE suitable for framing. The IKCA CREED, also ready for framing. The ASSOCIATION PATCH (worn on the right sleeve of your gi) and your laminated ID CARD, along with the IKCA CERTIFICATION LOG BOOK in which all of your promotions will be signed off by the Head Instructors well as any participation in tournaments and how you placed. Your time logged as an Instructor has a section and there is a complete set of Bylaws for handy reference.
